I've been spending way too much time perusing this blog over the last 24 hours. I've been reading her cooking blog for a few months (on the recommendation of Amber). But, just yesterday I decided to see what her main blog is like. Boy, oh, boy am I hooked. My poor neglected family - I can't tear myself away.
I just came across this post - which you absolutely must read! Trevor did a Bible study on the poor a few years ago and ever since he has committed to giving a dollar to any homeless/down-n-out person that asks. A little over a year ago I decided to follow his example. It's stories like this that remind me that what we're doing is not only right, but God honoring.
