Intriguing...

When I got online this morning to do my usual morning online stuff (my daily Bible reading, check the weather, news and my friend's blogs) I was intrigued by this book meme that Laura posted. The rules are:

The first book I came across was Babywise - Book Two. But, there weren't enough sentences on page 123 since it was a page with illustrations for how to teach your baby the signs for mommy and daddy. Awwww!

So, the 2nd book that I came across is one that I recently got from the library. It's titled Comeback: a mother and daughter's journey through hell and back by Claire Fontaine and Mia Fontaine.

"I'm given qualities I don't have and feel stripped of those I do. No one ever does the usual commiseration thing, the I-know-what-you're-going-through thing, my kid this or my kid that. Nobody's kid lights a candle to Mia."

I have not started to read this book yet. It was a recommendation on one of the blogs that I read. I know that this is going to be a very heavy book. I never seem to be in the mood for the "heavy" stuff - even though it intrigues me and I know that it will most likely be a very good read - thought provoking and all that. I'm that way with movies too. I would much rather stick to the light hearted comedies then to delve deep into the life changing type movies. Well, now my curiosity is piqued just enough I think I will start reading this book afterall.
