Happy Birthday, Trevor!

Today is Trevor's 33rd birthday. I always feel bad for him because it seems like his birthday gets passed by without much fanfare since it's sandwiched right in between Christmas and New Year's.

We celebrated with gifts...
New Homer PJ pants that say "I am so smrt" and Season 2 on DVD along with a few other treats like beef jerky etc...

We also had birthday brownies per Trevor's request.

Tonight Trevor and I are going to Timbuktu Restaurant without the kids. Woo-hoo!! There is a story behind our restaurant choice. Back when we were in college and Trevor was on the soccer team we took a trip to Maryland so that team Practical could play Washington Bible College. It was the first time I had ever been to Maryland. It was a very quick trip. We drove down and back in the same day in a 15 passenger van with one of the teammates driving. On the way back we were looking for somewhere to eat. At that time the "food" signs by the exits didn't list the restaurants that you would find at that exit. We pulled off at one exit that promised food and found Timbuktu. At that point we were all so incredibly frustrated and hungry that we all thought it was hysterical that we found Timbuktu - which seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. We couldn't find a McDonald's to save our lives, but we found Timbuktu. After we moved to Elkridge we realized that we were really close to Timbuktu and decided that someday we should go eat there in rememberance. Well, apparantly it's a little on the pricey side so we decided to wait for a special occasion. Besides, who can resist a restaurant with a running camel as their logo?
