Tim Russert

I've always felt some sort of connection to Tim Russert - probably because he hails from Buffalo. We used to watch Meet the Press pretty regularly on Sunday mornings if we made it home in time from the first service at church. I enjoyed how he asked people the tough questions and never really backed down. I also enjoyed his occasional references to the Buffalo Bills - he was a big fan (as are we)! I was pretty shocked to see this headline announcing that he passed away today at the very young age of 58. As a fan I'm saddened that we are losing a very talented political pundit. As a Buffalonian we're losing a hometown hero. His loved ones are losing so much more.
